Cecil's Hornet's...
To me, the FA-18 Hornet in US Navy service,
ranks just behind my all time favorite US Navy fast jet; the A-7 Corsair II.
These images would not have been possible had it not been for Bert
Byers at NAS Cecil Field in Florida. The images were taken over a 3 year
period; December 1991, September 1992, & August 1993. It was sad to
hear that this great base had closed on 30th September 1999.
