MV293 [G-SPIT] a Supermarine Spitfire Mk XIV, displays as 'MV268' which was Wing Commander Johnny Johnson's last personal aircraft while he was commanding 144 wing. In the above Photograph the aircraft is operating with 'clipped wings' at Duxfords 'Flying Legends' Show on the 8th July 2006 . Codes JE:J are Johnny Johnson's initials.
