MH434 [G-ASJV] a Supermarine Spitfire Mk IX that has to be the most famous of all UK based Spitfires, a star in many Films & TV programmes. Operated by the Old Flying Machine Company Photographed at North Weald on 13th May 1989 in
'Poirot' Episode Colours.
The Aircraft became closely associated with the late, great Ray Hanna . Although Ray Hanna died in late 2005 the Old Flying Machine Company, he founded still operates MH434 and for the Aviation enthusiasts who saw Ray Hanna's breathtaking displays at Air shows, MH434 will always be the Ray Hanna Spitfire.
