9245 Mustang in 1950's USAF Colours

9245 North American Mustang TF Mk IV [P-51D-25-NA - USAAF BuNo 44-73871] - Brought on Charge (BOC) 6th December 1950. Operated by 416(F) Squadron Royal Canadian Air Force based at RCAF station Uplands (Ottawa). Later used by RCAF station Trenton, Trenton Ontario. Struck of Charge (SOC) 2nd May 1956, due to a Category A accident.
At some point the Aircraft was repaired and sold to the the Israeli Air Force in 1959. Details of service unknown. However it left Israel in 1964, when sold to an owner in the USA and being registered N7098V. Eventually being sold to a German owner and registered D-FTSI.
