XM111 Beverley C1 with 84 Squadron Markings WFU

XM111 had its first flight on April 19th 1958 and was then delivered to 84 squadron in the July.
But was subsequently loaned to the Abingdon wing later that month, being used by 53 Squadron's
detachment in the Gulf for a month, before returning to 84 in the September.
XM111 came back to the UK for re-skinning in November 1960, then loaned to the Ministry of Aviation
(MoA) in June 1961, eventually re-joining 84 the following month.
XM111 returned for refurbishing & camouflaging in September 1965 and was then reassigned to
47 squadron in the November. After a Cat 3 repair [not recorded] it was delivered to 30 Squadron
in January 1967 but was transferred back to 84 Squadron in July.
After ferrying back to Abingdon in preparation for withdrawal from service, a 'Flower Power motif'
was painted on the port side.
XM111 was declared NEA on 18th November 1967, and then sold as scrap to BKL on August 29th 1969.
