The ill fated XL132 first flight was June 11th 1957 then passed to the OCU 2 months later.
Tragically XL132 crashed into Chichester Harbour on 17th May 1962 when the Number 3 engine caught fire
and then fell off the Aircraft, during a night approach to home base of Thorney Island.
Two Crew died and the Aircraft was Struck off Charge (SOC) on the 18th May 1962.
