Caz Caswell Writes:
Aircraft seen on the ramp while working at Field Aviation East was extremely varied to say the least, and very hard to select just a few for this gallery. I am sure this gallery will expand when time permits, but for now, we have a starting point.
There was so many interesting aircraft that passed through Field Aviation, and the ramp they often parked on was often full. While not all requiring the services of Fields, many indeed parked there for one reason or another.
de Havilland Canada was probably the most numerous with so many aircraft requiring specialized work not carried out by the manufacturer. Most were dash 8's, but dash 7's were occasional visitors, plus a few Twin otters for conversion work.
Some of those pictured in this gallery have interesting notes that often include information that may not be generally known.
Being involved in some of more unusual projects covered in these Notes added both interest and enjoyment to working as part of the team
for Field Aviation.
Some of the other interesting aircraft that were at Field Aviation or on the Ramp are pictured in other galleries on this site.
