ML407/G-LFIX is Carolyn Grace's Spitfire T9 ML407 that was originally an LF IX, but converted by Supermarine in 1950.

ML407/G-LFIX was rebuilt by Carolyn's husband Nick who was tragically killed in a car accident in 1988.

Carolyn subsequently learnt to fly the Spitfire, and today she is regarded as one of the best Spitfire display pilots, and the only female one.
