In general 2007 was not a good year for Weather. with Southend a washout and Waddington being a washout for one day and cancelled for other. So made use of the cancelled day with a visit to the RAF Museum at Cosford,
The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) at RAF Fairford had rain, with only one day of good weather, but at least in part this was made up for by good displays and some extremely interesting visitors.

An extra show was attended at Duxford in September, but as was the norm for the 2007 Season was somewhat spoilt by grey skies.

I always look forward to the Royal Air Force Association (RAFA) Airshow at Shoreham, but this year despite the good weather a dark shadow of another and more tragic kind was cast by the crash of 5589/G-HURR Hurricane XIIa, killing Brian Brown.
