Caz Caswell Notes: From 1978 to 1980 Management and Unions fought off attempts by Frank Lorenzo for a hostile takeover of National through his Texas International Airlines company. In 1980 Pan Am made a 'White Knight' bid for National, which was successful and absorbed the operations and assets of the Airline!
