Caz Caswell Writes:
My tribute to a great airline, that I had the pleasure to work for; this was my first job in the airline industry back in 1972. Sir Freddie had the flair to provide the very best, at the cheapest cost, but fell only, because they could not fight with the larger carriers. Those larger carriers looked to the likes of Laker as thorns in their sides. None of the later types appear on this page, as they were not in Laker service at my time of leaving/emigrating to Canada, to work for Wardair another great Airline run by Max Ward, a man with the same flair as Freddie Laker.

Sadly Sir Freddie sadly passed away on Friday, 10th February 2006 at the age of 83. See the Telegraph Obituary - Sir Freddie Laker .
