Douglas Holland Notes:
From Winter 1994/1995, until Winter 1996/1997, CanAir Cargo operated Winter Season only Passenger Charters using leased Aircraft. These Notes only deal with these operations, for more detailed notes on CanAir Cargo see the previous Picture: C-GCDG Boeing 737-217 of  CanAir Cargo at YYZ - 30 May 1994 and associated notes: CanAir Cargo Notes

In November 1994 CanAir made its first foray into the Winter Season Passenger Charter Business by leasing Boeing 737-4Q8 TC-AFA from Pegasus Airlines . The Aircraft being returned at the end of April 1995, at the end of what was apparently a successful season.

Late Autumn 1995 again saw CanAir move into Winter only Passenger Operations, only this time with Airbus Equipment. First on the scene was Airbus A320-211 C-GMPG on Winter Lease from Turkish Airlines, arriving with CanAir (the Cargo being dropped for Passenger Operations) on the 31st October 1995. This was joined by G-OALA, the subject of the above picture on lease from All Leisure on the 28 November 1995.
Although second to arrive, G-OALA was the first to leave, returning to Air Leisure on the 27 March 1996. Followed by C-GMPG on the 2nd May 1996 back to Turkish Airlines.

Autumn 1996 saw C-GMPG back with CanAir on the 31 October 1996 (returned 06 May 1997) , followed on 21 November 1996 by C-FWOR on lease from Airworld (Returned 22nd April 1997).

As CanAir Cargo was taken over by Royal Aviation in August 1997 the 1996/1997 Winter Operations were the last.
