Douglas Holland Notes:
Triton Airlines was founded in February 1993 by Jason and Javis Roberts from the community of Triton, Newfoundland. Although the Airline technically remained in Operation until October 1994, there is no indication that despite the delivery of the Aircraft shown in the picture that any commercial services were ever carried out.

N737Q Boeing MSN MSN 21279 was built in 1976 and delivered to Maersk Air, who operated it until the end of January 1980. It was sold to GPA who then leased it to Aerotours from February 1980, before going to TAG Angola Airlines in January 1981.
GPA then placed the aircraft on long term lease to Bahamasair who operated it as C6-BEQ from December 1982, until October 1990.
GPA now sold the Aircraft to FSBU and was on being leased to Nordam for Hush Kit Testing on the 01 November 1990 registered N737Q, the registration which it has retained to date.

It appears the plan was to sell the now 'Hush Kitted' Aircraft to BCCE with immediate lease to Triton Airlines starting June 1993, but despite being painted in Triton Airlines Livery the Aircraft was never registered in Canada and reverted to Nordam under the FSBU Lease.

The Aircraft was transferred to B&A LC for leasing to AirTran Airways in August 1995.
At the end of the AirTran Lease, B&A LC sold the Aircraft to Aviation Technologies who placed it on long term lease with SkyKing Inc from October 2001 and the aircraft remains part of the SkyKing fleet at time of writing.
