When photographed in September 1978 this was the current Allegheny colour scheme
Shortly afterwards Allegheny began to repaint company Aircraft with a new livery (see next photograph).
This repaint was followed almost immediately by a complete re-branding when Allegheny became USAir resulting in the Fleet having to go through the Paint Shop a second time!
